KEEP IN PRAYER AND IN MIND
Lord, thank you for raining down your blessings upon us! We ask that you encamp your angels around: the sick, shut-in, our people at home and away, traveling, troubled, recuperating, and the bereaved. We humbly ask and thank You Lord for the love and protective covering You have placed over all on our prayer list or known to us to be standing in the need of prayer.

VISITORS ARE ALWAYS WELCOME AT NEW JERUSALEM BAPTIST CHURCH! GOD LOVES YOU AND SO DO WE!
In these days and times, there are plenty of reasons people fear. Our world seems to be in a constant state of crisis. We know as Christians, we should not allow fear to rule our lives. Yet many fear arising from worry over dismal job markets, natural disasters one after another, crime seemingly “gone wild”, etc. Some forget God’s constant love and care for His people and allow fears to conquer their faith in God. Some forget when fear arises to ask, “Where does fear come from?” though we know fear does not come from God! Or we fail to ask ourselves, “Has God ever failed me in His promises, including His promise to meet all of my needs?” No, He has not!
Yes, we are living in tough times but read your Bible and find countless stories of God’s faithfulness to His people. The Apostle Paul lived in faith, through all kinds of hardships, persecution, pain, and other terrible circumstances. Yet, he testified in Romans 8:28 that “God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose”. His testimony assures us that for those who trust in Him, God turns every difficulty, loss, and separation into something good.
