KEEP IN PRAYER AND IN MIND

Heavenly Father, we thank you for once again gathering us together in Your name to fellowship in this blessed place of worship. Guide our thoughts and actions and fill us with your peace and love for our fellow man as we honor you and your many sacrifices for your people. We invite your divine presence, wisdom, guidance and loveas we give all glory and honor to You. Lord, we pray Your powerful and life changing presence and guidance will fill this place such that all that is said and done is for your glory and honor. We also ask that You encamp Your angels around: the sick, shut-in, our people at home and away, traveling, recuperating: and the bereaved. Thank You Lord for the love and protective covering You have placed upon all on our prayer list in the need of special prayer” at this time. Lord, please guide our steps, illuminate our pathways, and grant us the strength and wisdom to navigate the challenges of this life in your name and for your glory, AMEN.

NJBC EVENTS

We give special thanks to all who attended our Semi-Annual Church Meeting, despite the weather this past Saturday as we worked to finalize our 2026 calendar of NJBC events. We also give our God thanks and praise for the wonderful blessing of 38 years under the dynamic leadership of our beloved Pastor Emeritus, Dr. Thomas J. Henderson. We ask God and thank Him in advance for a smooth transition as we install new NJBC leader, Pastor Walter Irvin White. We pray that all of our members will join us in the carrying out of our plans for 2026 that support our desires to lift Jesus up for all the world to see, and to honor Jesus Christ as our Lord and Savior!

We thank our members for the love, compassion, and support shown to NJBC members, their friends, and family impacted in the past several weeks by the loss of loved ones.. Let us remember to keep them in our prayers and to encourage them in their love an dependance on Jesus Christ!

It is a given that everyone of us has or will one day experience moments of fear given the very destructive direction our world is moving. Since we can’t run or hide from our fears, ask yourself, “From where does fear come? Prayerfully, you have read or heard, 2 Timothy 1:7 ), which says, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind". This scripture assures us that as believers in Jesus Christ, we have not been given a spirit of timidity or cowardice. Rather, He has empowered His people with courage (power), selfless affection (love), and self-discipline (a sound mind) to live for Him, even in our world today!

Knowing those things, ask yourself, “Has God ever failed me in the past?” If you even “think” you can answer yes, read Philippians 4:19 know that God has promised to meet all of our needs and God never fails!.
